Mrs. Martha E. McGinnis, 80 years old, widow of S. R. McGinnis, died at her home, at 706 Broadway, at 9:30 o'clock last night after a long illness of complications super-induced by advanced age.  She was born in Boyle county, Kentucky, but for the past forty years had been a resident of Paducah.  She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church.

Surviving her are three daughters and one son, as follows:  Mrs. W. J. Dolph, Mrs. Ida Stanley, Miss Rose McGinnis and Mr. Collin McGinnis.  She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Alonzo McClellan, of Harrisburg [assume Harrodsburg], Ky.  Two grandchildren, Mrs. Roy Weaver and Mr. Howard Dolph, and one great-grandchild, Collin Weaver, also survive.

The funeral will be held from the residence at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, the Rev. R. G. Bowers, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating.  Burial will take place in Oak Grove cemetery.

The pallbearers will be:  Messrs. C. N. Baker, Oscar Kahn, F. E. Carpenter, W. 
E. Gibson, R. L. Eley and George Rouse.
