Submitted by Sandi Gorin NOTE: I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking additional information. "Mrs. Sarah McGlocklin, widow of Mr. R. P. McGlocklin, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gordon Trabue in New Hope, Ky., Tuesday, at the age of 83 years. "Surviving her are six children; Mrs. Taylor Fisher and Mrs. Leslie McGlocklin of this city, Mr. Ben McGlocklin of South Fork, Mr. Clem McGlocklin, of Monticello, Mrs. Clay Dearing and Mrs. Trabue, of New Hope. She also leaves two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Lizzie Button of Lecta, Mrs. Jim Winegar of Slick Rock, Messrs. John and Sam Foster of Hiseville. "Mrs. McGlocklin is well known in this section and was a consistent member of the South Fork Baptist church. "She lived in the South Fork section many years and is remembered affectionally by many friends. "Funeral services will be held at South Fork Friday at 10 o'clock and burial will be in the family burying ground nearby. Unable to locate. There is a Meglocklin Cemetery in this area which likely is the correct one. There is a John W, Elizabeth A, Judia G Slayton, Mosby P and Pauline Meglocklin buried there - all dying before 1900.
