All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ky/kyfiles.html ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: William McGuire http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00022.html#0005431 March 20, 2008, 6:25 pm Written: January 28, 1794 Recorded: January 1794 Mercer County, Kentucky Deed Books, Vol: 2, page 150-152, 1794 This Indenture made the Twenty Eighth day of January, One Thousand Seven Hundred & Ninty Four between Lawrence McGuire & Rosey his wife of the county of Mercer & Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part & George Nation of the said county and Commonwealth of the other part, witneseth that the said Lawrence McGuire & Rosey in consideration of the sum of Seven Pounds lawful money of the commonwealth aforesaid to them in hand paid the receipt whereof they do acknowledge they have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant-bargain & sell unto the said George Nation his heirs & assigns one certain parcel of land situate in the county aforesaid on the waters of Salt River on the West side a part of a survey of Four Hundred & Fifty acres patented to John Arnold and bounded as following to wit, Beginning at Henry Thompsons South East corner on the line of the original survey a White Oak, Maple & Dogwood sapling thence with his lines North Twenty Five degrees West Thirty Four poles crossing the branch at Thirty Two poles to a White Oak & Dogwood sapling thence South Seventy Nine & One half degrees West crossing the branch passing Smiths corner and with its line Ninty Three poles to a Dogwood Poplar & Red oak sapling on Lockes line thence South the same South Twenty Five degrees East Fifty Seven poles to a Black Ash and Hickry on the line of the original survey thence with the same North Fifty Five degrees East Eighty Eight poles to the beginning containing Twenty Five acres more or less together with all its appurtinances to have and to hold the said land with its appurtinances unto the only proper use of him the said George Nation his heirs & assigns forever and the said Lawrence McGuire and Rosey for themselves and their heirs and assigns do warrant the said land with its appurtinances unto him his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons forever.
