EARL MCKENDREE

Earl McKendree, 78, Morganfield died Monday at 2am at Union County
Methodist Hospital. 

Mr. McKendree was a member of Whispering Hope General Baptist Church. He
was a WWII veteran adn a KY Colonel. He was a retired coal miner and a
member of UMWA. Mr. McKendree was also a past Commissioner of the
Morganfield Little League Baseball Association.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; three daughters, Edna Ricks of
Morganfield, Nany Piper of Uniontown, and Helen Wright of Sturgis; four
sons, Jan Chambliss, Tim McKendree and Chris, all of Morganfield, and Billy
McKendree of Marion, KY; one sister, Ethel Certain of Sturgis; one brother,
W. D. McKendree of Providence; 17 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Services are today at 2pm at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield with
Rev. Robert Phillips and Rev. Morris Garett officiating. Burial was in Odd
Fellow Cemetery in Morganfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Morganfield Little League
