"Death of Phil McNemer. Mr. Phil McNemer, of Sorghotown, died yesterday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, age 61 years.  He had been in poor health for 
some time and his death was not unexpected.  He was an ardent Republican, 
and was one of the best farmers and most substantial citizens of the county.  
He was a Baptist and a Mason."

Mr. McNemer and his first wife, Patsy Dugan McNemer are buried at the site 
of the old McNemer farm in Sorgho.
