Mr. Daniel McSHANE, aged 63 years, died at his home in this county Tuesday
morning after only a short illness.  He was one of the county's esteemed
citizens, who by frugality and industry had acquired considerable wealth.
He was a member of the Presbyterian church and was liberal toward all good
causes.  Hid wife, nee Martin, died many years ago  He is survived  by an
only daughter.  Mrs. Isaac SHROPSHIRE.  Funeral services were conducted by
Rev. S. A. McELROY:  burial at Battle Grove, Wednesday.
