Born March 18, 1928, in Paint Lick, she was a daughter of the late William and Annie Marshbanks. She was a long-time member of Lancaster United Methodist Church, where she was financial secretary, choir member and former choir director. She was the former president and current United Methodist Women Missions Coordinator of Membership, Nurture and Outreach and a long-time employee of the Garrard Clinic. Survivors include her husband, Bill Meadows; two brothers, Eugene and Earl Marshbanks, both of Lexington; and four sisters, Flora Dollins King and Willa Mae Tussey Denton, both of Lancaster, Anna Francis Bowling of Oxford, Ga., and Rella Folger Piper of Acworth, Ga. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Collis Ray, Harold Meadows, Cecil Arnold, Harold Layton, and Mark and Randy Stathers. Honorary pallbearers are Mel Wesley, Bob Noe, Bill Borden, and Drs.
