Deed Bk H, p 407, 408 MIDDLETON; SIMMONS; EDWARDS; SUMMERS; This Indenture made this Twenty first day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and thirty Seven between Ann N. MIDDLETON widow of John MIDDLETON decd of Bullitt County and State of Kentucky of one part and Walter MIDDLETON, Walton MIDDLETON and John MIDDLETON of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth, That ths said Ann N. MIDDLETON for and in consideration of the sum of Six hundred Dollars and the natural love and affection she has for said Walter, Walton and John MIDDLETON she the said Ann N. MIDDLETON has sold and by these presents does sell and convey unto the said Walter, Walton and John MIDDLETON the following tract of land in Bullitt County on the waters of Salt river containing 100 acres more or less, and being the same Land bought by John MIDDLETON of Humphrey SIMMONS and _____ by deed dated 18th of June 1836 recorded in the Bullitt County Court office and bounded as follows. Towit Beginning at a large elm on the South bank of Salt river, running thence North 24o East 198 poles to a small blue ash Sapling and live ash Stump, thence South 66o West 73 poles to a hard ironwood and two beeches, Thence North 24o west 234 poles to live beeches Standing on the bank of said river, thence up the same with the meanders thereof and turning thence at low water mark South 87o East 19 poles, South 86o East 22 poles 20 links, thence East 12 poles, South 84o East 13 poles and 12 links, Thence East 17 poles to the Beginning with its appurtenances. To have and To hold said land to said Walter, Walton and John MIDDLETON and to their heirs and assigns forever; and the said Ann N. MIDDLETON for herself her heirs &c does hereby covenant and agree to and with said Walter Walton and John to warrant and forever defend the title to the said tract of land to said Walter Walton and John and to their heirs forever against the claims of all persons whatever. The above is the same land willed and devised by said John MIDDLETON to said Ann N. MIDDLETON Witness the hand and seal of the grantor. Ann N.
