Catherine Lucille Miller

Catherine Lucille Miller, 80, 615 U St., died at 5:28 p.m. Thursday at Dunn
Memorial Hospital.

Born in Louisville, Ky., she was the daughter of John A. and Lean
(Uppinghouse) Henson. She married John D. Nowland in 1936 and he preceded
her in death in 1963. She then married David S. Miller in 1965 and he
preceded her in death in 1986.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God.

Surviving are one step-daughter, Wilma Jones of Bedford; six
step-grandchildren and three nieces.

She was preceded in death by one half brother, Chester Spainhourd, and one
step-daughter.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. Burial
will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
