Mrs. Bessie Lee Minor, 81, Dies Tuesday, May 1

Mrs. Bessie Lee Minor, 81, of the Tallow Creek community in Taylor County,
Route 6, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Mr. John Will Clark and Mrs.
Mary Swafford Clark, was born in Taylor County, February 6, 1892.  She died
at 2:15 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, 1973, at the Taylor County Hospital.  She had
been a patient there for the past five days.
She professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Tallow
Creek United Methodist Church.
She united in marriage to Mr. Elliott Minor February 6, 1907.  He preceded
her in death April 18, 1948.  To this union two sons and two daughters were
born.  One son, Mr. Lee Minor, died in infancy.
Surviving are:  Mr. Oliver Minor of Route 6, Campbellsville; Mrs. Jeffie
Helm and Mrs. Mary Willie Malone, both of Route 1, Elkhorn; fourteen
grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a
host of friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday (today), May 3rd in
the Tallow Creek United Methodist Church by Rev. C.W. Devine.  Burial will
be in the Tallow Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Parrott and Ramsey
are in charge.
Pallbearers are:  David Malone, Billy Malone, Willard Malone, Ronnie Malone,
Dwayne Minor, Herbert Parker.
