DEED: Mitchell to Jackson, Bath Co Bath Co., KY Deed Book O Page 238-239 Mitchell To } Deed Jackson This Indenture made and entered into this 2nd day of January One thousand eight hundred and forty six Between Alfred Mitchell and Susan Mitchell his wife of the County of Bath and State of Kentucky of the one part and James C Jackson of the county and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the aforesaid Alfred Mitchell & Susan his wife for and in Consideration of the some of One hundred & twenty dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold & do by these presents grant bargain sell and confirm unto him the said James C Jackson his heirs or assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Bath on the waters of little Flat Creek Containing Nineteen Acres and bounded as follows to wit Begining at a stake near a sycamore on the west bank of the Creek thence West 9 poles a stake thence S 5 degrees W 39.1 poles to a stone in a brach thence up the same N 81degrees 70 W 68 poles to a buckeye stump in Kincaid's line thence N 44 degrees 30 E 100 poles to a beech Corner to R Lock thence with his heirs S 12 degrees 30 E46 poles to the beginning. Together with all and singular the premises thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with its appertances unto him the said James C Jackson his heirs or assigns forever & the said Alfred Michell and Susan his wife for themselves their heirs Executors & administrators the title to the aforesaid land and premises unto him the said James C Jackson his heirs and assigns forever.
