Submitted by Sherri Hall NOTE: I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking additional information. >From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 23 Apr 2003 Luanna Anderson Moody, 77, of Louisville, formerly of Preachersville, died Sunday in Louisville. Born Nov. 26, 1925, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Nannie Mae Gooch Anderson. She was a retired Jefferson County teacher and a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church, Retired Teachers Association, and El Matador Garden Club in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. She also was a Kentucky Colonel and the widow of Frank L. Moody II. Survivors include four daughters, Julie A. Young of South Carolina, Nancy L. Moody of Knoxville, Tenn., Linda M. Salcido of Diamond Bar, Calif., and Mary M. Fentress of Louisville; a son, Frank L. Moody III of Louisville; two sisters, Doris Anderson Spurlin of Preachersville and Irene Anderson Bailey of Indianapolis; a brother, Edward W. Anderson of Harrodsburg; 14 grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Revs. Joe Cooper and Bobby Brooks. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John, Jeff and Jeremiah Lumpkins, Ruben Escobedo, Frankie Moody IV, Justin Moody and James Fentress. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Spurlin, Dr. Mark Spurlin and Barry Spurlin. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday. ______________________________
