One thousand Eight hundred and forty one between William Moore and Angeline his wife late Angeline See one of the nine children and heirs at law of George See decd late of the county of Bourbon and State of Kentucky, a party of the first part, and William See of the County aforesaid, a party of the second part, WITNESSETH: That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred-dollars in hand paid, have granted, bargained, and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm, unto the said party of the second part, an equal and undivided one ninth part of the Tract of ninety five acres one Rood and twenty two poles of Land on the Waters of Boons creek in said County, and being the same tract of Land of which the said George See died seized and possessed, and which was divided among his children and Heirs nine in Number by commissioners appointed by order of the Bourbon County Court, making the interest of said Moore and wife about Ten acres being Lot Number four in said division and bounded as follows Towit: Beginning at a stone corner to the widow, then with a line of same North thirty five degrees, East twenty three and two tenth poles to a Black Walnut and blue ash corner to James C Bryan, then with his line South fifty four and one fourth degrees East fifty three poles to a stone corner to John Desha in said line, then with Desh line South sixty five degrees west fifty eight poles to a stone in said line corner to Lot Number Three, then with a line of the same North Seven degrees West thirty seven poles to the Beginning: This deed being designed to convey all the interest of the said Moore and wife in and to the said ninety five acres one Rood and twenty two poles of Land. Together with all the premises improvements, rights and privileges thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining : To have and to hold the Land, premises and appurtenances aforesaid, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns foreve: and the said party of the first part do covenant and bind themselves their Heirs Executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend the Land, premises and appurtenances aforesaid,unto the said party of the second part, his Heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever. Smith clerk of the County Court of said County do certify that this Deed from William Moore and Angeline his wife to William See was this day produced to me in my office by the said Grantors and acknowledged by the said William Moore to be his act and deed, and the said Angeline being examined by me privily and apart from her said husband declared that she did freely and willingly seal and deliver the said writing and wished not to retract it, and aknowledged the said writing again shewn and explained to her to be her act and deed, and consented that it might be recorded.
