MARGARET ANN MOORE

Margaret Ann Sanford Brann was born in Paris Ky Dec 29th 1793, the 
daughter of Thomas Brann and Frances Mitchell.
She was married to William (C) Moore(B: 1792 in Bourbon Co., KY).  They 
had james A.; Thomas; Margaret Ann; Joseph; Nancy and William;
After the death of William Moore(July 30, 1833 in Pendleton Co., Ky),
Margaret (Peggy Sr.) married robert Makemson.  He also had children by 
his first marriage.  They were both older when they married and had no 
children of their own.  Margaret Sr. lived to be 100 years old.  She is 
remembered by Lee makemson as having ridden side
saddle on a pacing bay mare from here home to the home of her daughter
Margaret Ann (Peggy Jr.) Draper.  She is
also remembered by the Brombacks as having risen on her 100th Birthday and
made her won bed.  Peggy Sr. son Tom
was a distiller in Bourbon County and would bring his mother a quart of 10
year old Kentucky whisky when he came
to visit.  Margaret Sanford Brann Moore Makemson
Died at the home of her daughter Margaret Ann Moore Draper in Pendleton 
Co. Ky on Sept. 2, 1894

2.Thomas Edwin B: Feb 15, 1831 Pendleton Co Ky D: ?      
  Married Sept 29,1859 to Sarah Jane Shawhan
        Was a Captain in Confederate Army
3.Margaret Ann B: May 4, 1817 ; D: Dec 10, 1899.(Pendleton  Co., Ky), 
 buried at Mt. Carmel . First marriage to james W. Ratliff march 21, 1838 
 (in Pendleton Co. Ky) to this union were born two daughters Sarah 
 Margaret and Louisana.
On February 6, 1850 (in Pendleton Co. Ky)Margaret Ann Moore married
Granville Allen Draper and her two daughters were raised in the Draper 
home along  with Granville's children by his first wife, Martin and Susan.
Martin Draper later married Louisana, his step- sister on April 24, 1858.
 Margaret Ann (Peggy Jr.) and
Granville Draper had Mary Frances, martha Jane, henrietta, Annie
4.Joseph(Jocephus)       married Catherine Callen
5. Nancy  Elder            married Jerry Wells (Jermiah)
6. William  Columbus B. 1826 in Ky ; D: 1862 in MO
        Married April 14, 1847 to Martha Ann Makenson[sic]
        married and had children in Missouri, was Killed during Civil War.
Went to Mo. during Civil War.
       Came back to Ky to avoid the intense partisanship in his part of Mo.
 He stayed in Ky for a while and then returned to Mo.  There, the Union 
Men found him, Killed Him, and took his body and threw it in his own  yard.
