Breckinridge News, Cloverport, Ky., Wednesday, July 4, 1900 Page 1, Obituary:
     Blind for many years, Mrs. J. H. MOORMAN, after a lingering illness, died Thursday, June 28, 1900, at 
her home on the hill (in Cloverport) at 5:00 p.m.  
She was 64 years old.
     Mrs. MOORMAN was Miss Susan NEWMAN of this county, and married on September 2, 1857.  She 
was the mother of six children, all of whom survive:
Miss Mary
Miss Rosa
Miss Edna
Mr. Jesse and Mr. Harry MOORMAN of Owensboro, Daviess County, Ky.
James H. MOORMAN, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia
     The funeral services were held on Friday morning June 29 at the Baptist Church, of which Mrs. 
MOORMAN has been a member for 33 years.  The services were conducted by her pastor, the Reverend 
W. B. RUTLEDGE.

I did not find a tombstone for Mrs. Susan MOORMAN in the Breckinridge County Cemeteries, volume 
one, published in 1991.
