Orby C. Morris, age 63 of Hardinsburg,KY died Friday,2-23-2007 at Jewish Hospital in 
Louisville,KY. He was born in Meade County,KY on 4-2-1943, the son of the late Odie 
and Mollie Hardaway Morris. Orby retired from the Breckinridge County Board of Education 
Maintenance Department, was a member of Harned United Methodist Church, a former member 
of the Breckinridge County Lions Club and was an avid camper and traveller.
 
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers - Melvin and Obed Morris
 
Orby is survived by his wife Betty Jeffries Morris who he married 7-6-1963.
Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law: Shari and David Clapp of Mayfield,KY and 
their daughter Sabrina Clapp a son and daughter-in-law: Jeffrey and Sharon Morris of 
Elizabethtown,KY and their children Jesse,Jenna & Joshua Morris
1 nephew - larry Morris
3 nieces - Joyce Hinton,Rita Coomes and Patti Wilkins
 
Funeral services will be held on Monday,2-26-2007 at 2PM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 
in Hardinsburg,KY with Rev. J.A. Lawhorn officiating. Burial will be in the Sand Knob 
Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-8PM and after 8:30AM Monday. Memroial 
contributions are requested to: Breckinrdige Conty Relay for Life.
