OF THIS COUNTY
     G. W. MULLEN, one of Owensboro's leading business men, who was born in Virginia on June 1, 
1834,and resided with his Father & Mother in Breckinridge County until he became a young man, died in 
San Diego, California (San Diego
County) last Wednesday morning, February 24, 1904.  The body will be brought to Owensboro, Ky 
(Daviess County) for burial.

I believe I found his parents in the Breckinridge County Cemetery Book, volume 1, published in 1991:
#0288 Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery located on Balltown Road, 1.6 miles northwest of Mattingly in 
the northwestern section of Breckinridge County.
