HARRODSBURG -- Joseph Daniel Murphy, 31, of Ashley Drive died Tuesday at his
home.
Born Feb. 10, 1972, in the Panama Canal Zone, he was the son of Daniel E.
and Nancy M. Austin Murphy of Harrodsburg.
He was an employee of Hitachi and a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church.
Other survivors include his son, Zachary J. Murphy of Harrodsburg; his
fiance, Sherry M. Preston of Harrodsburg; a grandmother, Virginia A. Murphy
of Harrodsburg; a brother, Steve Murphy of Harrodsburg; and a sister,
Deborah A. Villa of San Antonio, Texas.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Spring Hill Cemetery by the
Rev. Frank Osburg.
Pallbearers will be Michael Burke, Mike Young, Scott Brothers, Sean Tarter,
Scottie Rawlings and Steve Murphy.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Ransdell Funeral Chapel with a prayer
service at 7:30 p.m.
