Murray September 15, 1915 Barren County KyArchives Obituaries Unknown Glasgow KY newspaper "Mr. J. W. Murray [sic] Dead. Mr. J. W. Murray, of the Poplar Springs country, died at his home on the 1th of tuberculosis. He was seventy-two years old at his death and is survived by his wife, who was Miss Lizzie Matthews before her marriage. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Quick and Mrs. Susan Buckley, both of Poplar Springs and a half- sister, Mrs. John Buckley, of the same county also survives him. "The remains wee interred in the Cemetery at that place after funeral services at the grave. "Mr. Murray was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church for 48 years and a loyal Christian and church man. Many friends over the contry will hear of his passing away with regret and he had lots of friends, too."
