He died of a heart attack. The funeral was on Saturday, January 9, 1960 at the Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington, and burial was at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Irvington. L. "Bud" NEAFUS preceded him in death. Mr. NEAFUS was a Louisville city detective for a few years. At the time of his death, he was in partnership with Mrs. NEAFUS in owning and operating the Barbeque Smoke House Restaurant at 7336 Dixie Highway. Mr. NEAFUS was a member of Shawnee Lodge #830 in Louisville.
