LEDFORD NEAL

	Ledford Neal, 94, of Stoney Fork, died on Sunday, March 9, 2003 at his 
home.
	He was born in St. Creek, on September 18, 1908 the son of the late 
George and Nannie Brock Neal.  He had been a coal miner and was a member of 
the Stoney Fork United Methodist Church.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margie Helton Neal, 
and a host of brothers and sisters.
	Survivors include his children, Grant and Bessie Neal of Stoney Fork, 
Henry and Imogene Neal of Mt. Sterling, KY, James and Thelma Neal of Stoney 
Fork, Ledford, Jr. and Judy Neal of Ft. Wayne, IN, Mary Neal of Stoney Fork, 
Elmer and Ella Neal of Stoney Fork and Laura and Gene Jones of Fredericksburg, 
VA; twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and twenty 
great- great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
	Services were Tuesday at the Stoney Fork United Methodist Church with 
Rev. Scott Woodworth, Rev. Reed Brock and Rev. Jamie Brunk.  Burial was in the 
Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Pineville.  Grandsons and friends served as 
pallbearers.
	Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Neal 
Family.
