Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Don Shader said identification was made from rings and dental charts. He ruled the was a suicide by drowning. Nevitt's care was found parked on the Kennedy Bridge. Police checked his home at 1503 Bluegrass and found the pajama-clad body of his 32 years old wife in the bathroom. She had been stabbed at least a dozen times, police said. Nevitt, age 33 years, had been a chemical operator for the B.F. Goodrich Chemical Company in Louisville. Both he and his wife were natives of Athertonville, this county, but had resided in Louisville for a number of years. Funeral for Nevitt was held Friday morning at Nunnelley Funeral Home in Louisville with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
