Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings Maurice Newton, age 72 of McQuady,KY died Sunday, 3-9-2008 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville,KY. He was born in Breckinridge County,KY on 11-24-1935, the son of the late Frank and Cecilia O'Connell Newton. He was a farmer and member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
 
He is survived by a brother - Shelby Newton - McQuady,KY
2 sisters - Margie Bland and Jean Newton - McQuady,KY
6 nieces and nephews
9 great nieces and nephews
 
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 3-13-2008 at 11AM at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Buckman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday from 5-8PM and after 8:30AM Thursday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 7:30PM Wednesday.
