Charles Nix, aged 82 years, died Sunday morning at 5;30 o'clock at the home of George Reddix, near Jeffersonville, this county, where he had made his home for the past nine years. He had been in declining health for over a year. Mr. Nix was reared in Grant county, but resided in this county for the past 30 years. He was a highly respected man and had many friends who regret his death. Burial took place Monday at 2 o'clock in the Reddix graveyard on Hog Creek.
