DEED: Noble, 1813 - Franklin Co FRANKLIN COUNTY, KENTUCKY DEEDS, Book D, p. 268 This Indenture made the Twenty seventh day of November in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirteen Between Thomas Arbuckle of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky of the one part and William Noble of the County and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth the said Thomas Arbuckle for the sum of five hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said William Noble the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge & thereof doth release acquit and discharge the said William Noble his heirs &c the said Thomas Arbuckle hath bargained and sold and by these presents do Grant Bargain Sell Alien and confirm unto him the said William Noble & his heirs forever a certain tract of land containing fifty six acres situate in the County of Franklin on the waters of Hammons Creek (a part of said Arbuckles 112 acres) and bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at a sugar hickory & white oak on Watkins line & with the same North Sixty poles to an Ironwood Saplin thence west sixty poles to a walnut & sugar thence North twenty six poles to three sugar trees, thence west sixty three poles to a white oak & red oak on Smith’s line & with the same South Eighty six poles to two sugar trees thence East one hundred and twenty three poles to the Beginning with all the appurtenances to have and to hold the said fifty six acres of Land unto him the said William Noble and his heirs forever to the only proper use & behoof of his the said Noble & his heirs forever and the said Thomas Arbuckle ___for himself his heirs Executors & administrators doth hereby warrant and defend the said fifty six acres of Land unto him the said William Noble his heirs Executors administrators and assigns against the claims p. 269 of all and every person whatsoever In Witness whereof the said Thomas Arbuckle has herewith set his hand and seal the day & year above written Signed Sealed and Delivered in presence of Thomas A Arbuckle (Seal) Tet Michael Smith Aaron Smith Robt Robinson Franklin County Court Clerks office Sct This Deed from Thomas Arbuckle to William Noble was produced to me in my office on the 23rd day of Feby 1814 and was proven by the oaths of Michael & Aaron Smith to be the act and Deed of the said Thomas for the purposes mentioned therein whereupon the same is duly recorded in my said office Att Fleming Trigg Clk Submitted by: Phyllis Hill Date: 7 Jan 1998
