Unknown Glasgow KY newspaper.
"MRS. NUCKOLS DEAD. Following a severe illness of Bright's disease and 
intestinal trouble Amanda Smith Nuckols died at the home of her husband, Mr. 
Jim Nuckols, Thursday morning at six o'clock in her thirty-ninth year.

"She was the daughter of Mr. Ben Smith, one of the best citizens of the county. 
Deceased was a member of the Baptist church, and a woman of extellent traits, 
as well as being devout and tender mother and wife.

"Surviving her are her husband and three children, Pernie, Ruby and Gus, who 
are all in tender years. Also her father, mother, two brothers and one sister 
survive.

"The burial will occur this afternoon in the Peden burying ground."
