DEED: John Shultz to John Parker, 1834, Bath Co This deed was among some of those that I copied at Bath Co., KY. As far as I know, I have no relation to the people mentioned. Bath Co., KY Deed Book I Pg. 372 John Shultz To } Deed John Parker This indenture made and entered into this 11th day of august 1834 by and between John Shultz of the County of Montgomery and State of Kentucky of the first part and John parker of the County of Bath and State aforesaid of the Second part witnesseth whereas the said Shultz hath this day for and in consideration of the Sum of Fifty-- Dollars to him in hand paid by the Said John Parker the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and Sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and Convey unto him the said John Parker, all his right title and interest in and to two certain tracts or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Bath on Slate creek which tract of land is supposed to contain one hundred and five acres be the same more or less one of which is bounded as follows to wit. Begining at stake in the midle of Slate below Dawsons Mill and thence meandering the Creek downwards South 56 East 47 1/2 poles to a Stake thence North 74 East 29 poles to a stake in Dawsons line thence South with Dawsons line 180 poles to a Stake and Some? trees thence west 46 poles to a Stake in the midle of Slate Creek thence North 22 East 12 1/2 poles to a Stak thence North two west 30 poles to a Stake thence North twenty west 34 1/2 poles to a stone thence North 24 1/2 west 30 senr.poles to a Stak in garotts original line thence north with said line to the Beginning [here, 2 or 3 inches are left blank on this page] also all the right title and interest which the said John has in and to a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the same county on Slate Creek which was purchased by John Shultz -?- Rich'd menifees Exer To have and to hold all the right title and interest which he the said John Shultz has in and to said Land which is one seventh part it being the said tract of land which John Shultz senr at the time his de-?- and the Said John Shultz bein one of his children & heirs and the Said John Shultz will warrant and forever defend the same unto him the said John Parker his heirs and assigns forever free from the Claim of him the said John Shultz and his heirs and assigns and all and every person Claiming the same by throug on m-?- him but not against the Claim or Claims of any other person or persons Claiming the Land In Testimony whereof the said John Shultz has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above writen his Witness A Trumbo Jr John x Shultz Seal mark Bath County } sct I Benjamine T.
