Emma Elizabeth Watlington was born 24 February 1862 to Nathaniel Reed 
Watlington (born in Virginia) and Judith Tolliver Cox (born in Breckinridge 
County, Kentucky).  Emma married Harmon B. Parks on 25 November 1885 at the 
residence of N.R. Watlington, Breckinridge County, Kentucky.  Emma and Harmon 
had 8 children.  The individual identified as the informant on the death 
certificate, Owen Parks, is Owen Meredith Parks, the couple's eldest child.  
Emma is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, located on a hill overlooking the town 
of Irvington, in Breckinridge County, Kentucky.
