PARKS, deceased, of Clifton Mills (Breckinridge County), Ky., was a man of fine character. The deceased was one of the oldest citizens of Breckinridge County. He was 70 years old, and died at 3:30 Sunday afternoon after an illness of two weeks. Mr. PARKS was the father of Dr. S. P. PARKS, one of the best physicians of this county; also the father of Herman B. PARKS, B. A. PARKS, and Jesse PARKS. His wife, aged 65 years, also survives him. Mr. PARKS served one term of sheriff, and another as deputy sheriff of the county. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The funeral was conducted at Walnut Grove, and was under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge, of which he was a member.
