He was 58 years old, and leaves his wife and 9 children. Mr. PATE was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and a Mason. The funeral and burial is today (Feb 28, 1900), at Hardinsburg. He served as Deputy U.S. Marshall, as Poorhouse Commissioner, and involved in county politics.
