From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 6 Apr 2003 LIBERTY -- Lela Chloe Patten, 88, of Mitchell Street, Junction City, formerly of Liberty, died Friday at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Born Nov. 6, 1914 in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Bell Henson. She was a homemaker and member of Green River Valley Seperate Baptist Church. She was the widow of Arnold Foley and Luther Patten. Survivors include three daughters, Jewell Wilkerson of Russell Springs, Margie Price of Liberty and Judy Elam of Crab Orchard; a brother, Preston Henson of Dunnville; two sisters, Adele Smith of Russell Springs and Hattie Hudson of Liberty; eight grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Green River Valley Seperate Baptist Church by the Revs. Paul Patton and Jim Tharp. Burial will be in the Green River Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandson. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at McKinney Brown Funeral Home. ______________________________
