Payne April 5 1926 Barren County KyArchives Obituaries Unknown Glasgow KY newspaper "THE DEATH OF MR. O C [sic] PAYNE, AT TEMPLE HILL. Mr. O C Payne died at his home at Temple Hill Monday morning following a stroke of paralysis. He would have been 75 years old in May. His widow and four children survive: Messrs Clarence Payne, of Temple Hill; Grover Payne, of Fairbury, Ill; and Mrs. H. C. Biggers of Glasgow, and Mrs. David Lithege of Louisville. "Two brothers, Mesrs. Will and Ben Payne, also survive. Mr. Payne was a member of the Methodist church, and was an exemplary citizen highly esteemed by all who knew him. Burial was in Payne's burying ground after services by Rev. Piercy, assisted by Bro. Semester, of Tompkinsville."
