Returned to Glasgow in 1958 and began work as construction superintendent for Ralph Rogers Construction Company until his retirement in 1979. In 1929, became the first All-State football player from Glasgow HIgh School. Had over 50 years service to the Masonic organization.Member of Allen Lodge #24, a 50-year member of the York Rite and a 50-year member of the Shrine.
