BERTHA PELFREY

FRANKLIN. Mrs Bertha Pelfrey, 83, of the Franklin Inn nursing home, died at 
12:30 p.m. yesterday at Middletown Hospital.

Mrs Pelfrey was born in Clark County, KY, and lived at 600 Catalpa Drive, 
Middletown, before moving to Franklin.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs Corda Setters, Mrs Clara Haag, Mrs Mary 
Haag and Mrs Ruby Heater, all of Middletown, a stepdaugther, Mrs Maudie 
Edwards of Staton Ky,
three sons, Melvin, John, and Floyd, all of Middletown, three brothers, Clint, 
Everett and Frank Burgess, all of Winchester, Ky, 39 grandchildren, 51 great-
grandchildren,
and four great great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, 
Middletown, with the Rev Robert Graham officiating. Burial will be in Woodside 
Cemetery, Middletown.

Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
