The remains were brought back to here home where funeral services were held. Mrs. Pelfrey was the wife of George Pelfrey of Smile who survives her. She is also survived by three sons Cecil Fryman of Ohio; Wilfred Fryman of Columbus Ohio; Felix Fryman of Oxford Ohio; and her two daughters Mrs. Julia McGuire of Smile Mrs. Oleta Martin of Cranston KY. ______________________ Mary Anne Bradley Pelfrey was born August 18th 1876. Departed this life December 3rd 1939. She was the daughter of William D. and Elizabeth Bradley. She was united in marriage to Luther Fryman Dec. 14th 1800. To this union was born 6 children. Her husband Luther Fryman and daughter Mary Elizabeth preceded her in death. She was united in marriage Oct. 31st 1919 to George Pelfrey there were no children born to this union. She united with the primitive Baptist church June 1915. She lived a devoted Christian life until death. She leaves to mourn her departure her aged husband and 5 children, Cecil Fryman, Ohio, Felix Fryman Oxford Ohio, Wilfred Fryman Columbus Ohio, Mrs. Julia McGuire Smile KY, Mrs. Oleta Martin Cranston Ky. Two Brothers Felix Bradley Zanesville Ohio, John Bradley Mt. Healthy O, also stepchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She was a loyal Christian, a patient loving devoted wife and mother, kind to all who knew her. This writer has visited her home always enjoying her hospitality. She had a smile and kind word for everyone. We know she is with him who doeth all things well. Funeral services were conducted at her home on Brushy North Fork. Burial in the home cemetery.
