NOTE: I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking
additional information.

"Mrs. Laura Perkins died at the home of her husband, Mr. C. A. Perkins, in
Summer Shade, Monday of last week. She was a most excellent lady, loved and
respected by all who knew her. Mrs. Perkins was a daughter of Squire J. H.
McMurtry. She was twenty two years old and a consistent member of the
Baptist church."
