Sterling Advocate-06 Apr 1978 Mrs. Mattie Lee Causey, 86, Harrison Ave. died Thursday, March 30, 1978, at good samaritan Hospital in Lexington after a short illness. she was a Seventh Day Adventist. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William Tolliver, Cynthiana; Mrs. dorothy Myers, Lexington, and Mrs. bill Badgley, Sardinia, Ohio; two sons, Woodson Kenney, Winchester, Ohio, and Marvin Kenney of Millersburg; a brother, Frank Perry, Owingsville; 19 grandchildren, 22 great -grandchildren, and three great- great-grandchildren. Services were conducted by the Rev. Rodney Grove at 11 a.m. Monday at the Herald and Stewart Chapel. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery at Cynthiana. Casket bearers were Jim and Edgar Stone, Rusty, Terry, Wayne and Larry Myers. Mattie remarried a LYKINS and that ended in divorce. He last marriage was to Ben Causey, who originally was from Baton Rouge, La.
