MARR: Pierce/Nickel, Livingston & Caldwell Co

This is one of the clippings our grandmother kept.  We don't know the 
name of the paper it came from.  She wrote the date 1939 on the 
article.

MILDRED PIERCE WEDS HOWARD NICKEL

Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Pierce, of Princeton, Ky., announce the marriage of 
their daughter, Mildred, and Howard Nickel, of Grand Rivers, Ky.  The 
ceremony was performed by the Rev. Wayne Lamb, pastor of the 
Aldersgate Methodist church, at the parsonage at half after eight 
o'clock Friday evening, December twenty-third.

Mr. and DMrs. Clifton Yates Powell were the attendants.

Mr. Nickel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Nickel of Grand Rivers and is 
connected with the Phillips Construction Company at the Gilbertsville 
Dam site.

After a short honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Nickel will be at home at Grand 
Rivers.
