Pinson April 1945 Martin County KyArchives Obituaries newspaper PINSON, Nancy NANCY PINSON, 100 DIES AT INEZ HOME AFTER A STROKE Mrs. Nancy PINSON, 100, familiarly known in the KY, W.VA., border country around INEZ as “Aunt Nan” died March 04, 1945, at the home of a son, Mack PINSON, near INEZ. She would have been 101 years old June 7. “Aunt Nan” an authority on the history of Martin County, KY and Mingo County, W.VA.., was active and in good health until last Saturday when she suffered a stroke. Born in a log cabin near Nolan, W.VA.., she lived in the same area all her life. Her husband Thomas PINSON, died 35 years ago. Five of their ten children survive. They are Ben PINSON, Kenova, W.VA.., Robert PINSON, Kermit, W.VA.., Boon PINSON Beauty, KY., Mack PINSON, and James PINSON, the oldest, who is 82, both of near INEZ.
