Danville Advocate Messenger, 13 May 2002 Shirley Dale Kelsay Plummer, 64, of Hilltop Road, died Friday at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. 
Born Oct. 8, 1936, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Bessie Sexton Kelsey. She was a 1956 graduate of Danville High School and a homemaker. She was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, E.G. Plummer; a daughter, Amanda Plummer of Danville; a son, Roger Plummer of Danville; and a sister, Molly K. Hawn of Danville.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the Revs. 
Thomas Valentine and J. Timothy Mathis. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jim Caldwell, Marvin Saylor, Sadie Gambrel, Lowell King, Marcus Stallworth, Chris Holtzclaw, Craig Bell and Harold Martin.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday.
Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice or the Danville Schools Alumni Association.
