27 November 1824 Spencer Co. Deed Book A p. 74  Alfred PORTER and Anne his wife 
of the County of Spencer and State of Kentucky of the one part to Isaac WILCOX 
of the County of Nelson and State aforesaid of the other part.  For and in 
consideration of the Sum of Seven hundred Dollars Current money to them in hand 
paid have granted Bargained and Sold a certain tract or parcel of Land situate 
lying and being in teh County of Spencer on Big Beach Creek it being Lott No. 
18 as laid off and numbered by Andrew HOLMES a part of  ---- (deed is too 
damaged to read the description).
