LIBERTY -- Earl Poynter, 80, of Ky. 1859 died Sunday at his home.
Born April 19, 1923, in Taylor County, he was the son of the late Lacy and
Etta Poynter. He was an employee of Cisil Manufacturing Co. in Louisville
and a member of Pine Grove Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Reaner Ragle Poynter; a stepson, James Appleby;
a sister, Alta Shepherd; a brother, Danny Poynter of Lexington; and a
stepgranddaughter.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Jeff
Edwards and Ricky Johnson. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. today.
