Marriage Bonds at Garrard County Courthouse, Box ?, Bond 464 Know all men by these presents that we Enoch Preston and James Woods & Uriah 
Chiles do promise to pay unto his Excellency ? Greenup, Governor of Kentucky 
fifty pounds current money for the time being or his Successors, for the use of 
this commonwealth the payment of which well and truly to be made, we bind 
ourselves and each of our heirs jointly and severally and firmly by the 
presents Signed Sealed and dated this 14rh day of May 1807.

     The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas a licence has 
issued from the clerks office of Garrad County for a marriage intended between 
Enoch Preston and Maglen Woods.  Now should there be no lawful cause to 
obstruct said marriage then the above obligation to void else to reamin in full 
force.
