Marriage Bonds at Garrard County Courthouse
Know all men by these presents that we Enoch Preston and James Woods & Uriah 
Chiles do promise to pay unto his Excellency Ch? Greenup, Governor of Kentucky 
fifty pounds current money fo the time being or his successors, for the use of 
the commonwealth the payment of wheras well and truly to be made, we bind 
ourselves and each of our heirs jointly and severally firmly by the presents 
signed sealed and dated this 14tg day of May 1807-

     The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas a licence has 
issured fromt he clerks office of Garrard County for a marriage intended 
between Enoch Preston and Maglen jWoods now should there be no lawful cause to 
obstruct said marriage then the above obligation to void else to remain in full 
force-
