RUBY "RUBE" PROW JR.

Ruby L. "Rube" Prow Jr., 67 of Evansville, died Tuesday, Feb. 3 at
Deaconess Hospital. He owned R & J Carpet Center for 18 years, and was
carpet manager for Fireside Galleries unti 1994. 

He was a well-known musician in his hometown area, and he played guitar
and sang with several bands for many years.

He was a Korean War Navy Veteran.

Surviving are a daughter, Cindy Engleman of Washington, IN; two sons,
Daniel A. of Mount Vernon and Randal L. of Chicago; two sisters, Helen
Wilson of Dalton, KY and Ann Coffman of Morganfield; a brother, Joe of
Dalton; three grandchildren, Amy Prow and Neil and Max Engleman; and neices
and nephews.

Services were at 11am Friday at Alexander Funeral Home with Rev. John
Shoulta officiating. Burial was in Dalton Cemetery in KY.
