PUMPHREY, who resides near West View(now spelled Westview in Breckinridge County), is critically ill of Consumption (now called tuberculosis), and her recovery is doubtful. Mrs. PUMPHREY has reached the ripe old age of 71, and is a most elegant old lady. NOTE: I did not find mention of her death in the "News" in the following weeks. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery, located on the east side of Ky Highway 259 between Kingswood and Westview, about 3 miles south of Harned. The church is no longer Methodist. PUMPHREY, Mary A. Feb 10 1830 -- May 22 1903 (should be 1900. Transcribers copied the death year down wrong. Her tombstone must have been very hard to read.) She is the 2nd wife of Rev. Mortimer D.
