Rafferty of Louisville, died Wednesday evening, May 17, at six 0'clock in the city hospital, Louisville, where she had been confined since March with a lingering illness.The remains were brought here Thursday evening to the home of her parents, Mr and Mrs. John Dean. The funeral was held Friday afternoon inthe Baptist church where the Rev. E. C. Nall conducted the services. Interment was in the Cloverport Cemetary. Mrs. Rafferty was the 3rd daughter of John H. and Jennie Rogers Dean, and born in this city, January 27, 1877. She was the second wife of Dr. B. T. Rafferty, who formerly lived here and to whom she was married in 1907. To this union four sons were born. Bradley, William and Robert Rafferty, and Harry Rafferty, who died in infancy a year ago. Dr. and Mrs. Rafferty have been making their home in Louisville several years. Mrs. Rafferty was a member of the Cloverport Baptist Church,having united with it in her girlhood and remained and active and faithful member until moving her membership to the Franklin street Baptist church, Louisville. Surviving with her parents, her husband and three sons, are two sisters, Mrs. A.M. Vance, of Dallas, Texas and Mrs. Alexander Schnaminoff of St Louis, two brothers, Augustus and Parrish Dean of Evansville, Ind.
