Mrs. Vera Rakestraw, 97, Moreganfield, died at 6:35am at Medco in
Morganfield.

Survivors include four daughters, Joyce Higgs, Lorene Westerman,
both of Morganfield, Jean Shockley of Ripley, VA., and Dean Abs of Sturgis;
one son, Thomas of Lawrenceburg, KY., one sister, Gerorgia Richkas of
O'Fallow, IL.; 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 10 great great
grandchildren. 

Services were at 10am Satruday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield 
with Rev. Randy Wisdom officiating. Burial was in Rowley Cemetery.
