LICENSE                            was  issued, viz:

      The State of Indiana, to any Person Empowered by Law to Solemize 
Marriages in said County, Greeting:
                    You are hereby duly authorized to join together as HUSBAND 
AND WIFE, W. L. Ralston and Stella H. Williams
                    IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I,  John W. Tevis, clerk of the 
Jefferson Circuit Court, have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of 
said Court, at  Madison, this 14 day of Oct. A. D. 1897

William Lee Ralston was first married to Anne Jefferies, Nov. 26 1894 in 
Jefferson Co IN.  Family story is that Anne died in childbirth and also the 
baby.

Died 1949 Nelson Co KY
Buried.  Same as her husband.
Stella is the daughter of James I. and Nancy C. (Overton) Williams
