Reaves died at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Chambers on Jefferson street, Saturday afternoon, after a long and lingering illness. "He is survived by one son, Mr. Elbert Reaves of South Fork and Mrs. Chambers. "Hew as born in Tennessee but came to Barren county with his parents when very young, and spent his life on a farm near South Fork Church, and was the last of his generation to pass on. "Mr. Reaves was 77 years of age, and had been a member of the Baptist Churchsince boyhood. He was a fine citizen who numbered his friends by his acquaintenances. "His wife preceded him to the grave a year and a day. Burial was in the Glasgow cemetery, Sunday afternoon, after funeral services by Rev. J. L. Parker."
